To introduce about KENTING..... here is a short discription:
Established on January 1, 1984, it is oldest and southernmost national park of Taiwan island. This national park is well-known for its tropical climate and sunshine, scenic mountain and beach.
June4, 2011.......... my trip to KENTING starts...
At Zhixue train station...I got my ticket to Fangliao and from there I took a bus to kenting... after reaching Kenting.... Omg.. it was too hot that day... i did some window shopping until I found my new friends : Gurudutt (from IITR, CSI), Saurabh and Alankar (IITB, CS), Amy (from Mac Gill university) and Keeran patel.
They had their lunch in Amy's Cucina.
After that we proceeded towards our room.. which was a sort of Modern Dharamshala... :D .... with 7 bed cusions in one row. Since we were 6, so it was fine for us...
After taking a little rest, we went to a beach which was nearby

... the time we reached there was 10 minutes to 6 and the closing time was 6... :D .. saurabh was very eager to take bath in that beach... :D so... he took a 10mins bath...
We dint have any plan for that day... so everybody decided to go to a pub ... i was least interested.. cuz i dint want to spend my money on it... ( better to do shopping instead ;) :P )
In evening i went to the night market .... and went inside each and every shop... n finally concluded .... there was nothing worth to buy..... so i dint buy anything :(
After 3 hours, i returned back.... after a few while... even Amy was back.. :O .. Though she never went to that pub because according to her she may feel disgusting to dance with the guys ....... who were like her brother. :P :P. After Amy left, the guys went to carlsberg.. >< ... n lied they dint go anywhere.. instead were just roaming on the streets..
Finally... a day passed........... The next day we had to go to visit the whole kenting... We had a map and decided to go by that...
We headed to Hengchun bus station.
From there we went to MAUBITOU... that was a very beautiful spot....
We first bought drinks for us...
and then Guru.. started shaking people to click our pics.. even if they would have been reluctant ..(but because he shaked them so hard)... they had to take the pics.. :P :P
Saurabh was the most enthusiastic person who wanted pics at all the spots... well it was a good thing because now we have so many memories at each spot. :D :D .. cheers to him.. \m/.
We nearly spent one hour at this place.
Then, we took a bus and headed to HOUBIHU MARINA.
As soon as we entered this place, there was a big place for food at the ground floor..... since we could not get how to go to the water sports spot... so we took an elevator...... and reached 1st floor........ again there were restaurants... and that was the last floor.........
I felt so funny... that we took elevator from ground floor to 1st floor.. and then took stairs to come from 1st floor to ground floor... and the elevator and stairs were too close....hardly any body needs the elevator in this case.. :P
Since we din't know what to do.. so we thought to follow someone. Soon, one fat lady came... and she started talking with us regarding the water sports. To this, saurabh commented.. "****" ( i exactly dont remember what he said.. but it was too funny :D ). LOLZZZzzzz..
Actually, she was the representative for collecting people for the sports. She showed us a poster of all the water sports they organise and we finally decided to do jet skiing.
The moti aunty then called a man.. and he drove us to the spot from where we had to go for that sports.
That guy had a scooty and it was a nice short journey on it.. ;)
They gave us life jacket and shoes... and by a mini truck sort of.. we reached that place. we were guided by a stud guy... we named him stud maxx :D ( as he was... will tell u later why ;) )
He took our photos with his camera........ he then made us sit on a boat.. and took a photo... and we were all stun.. as he made us sit on that boat just to take our pic.... so we kept his name " stud maxx" :D :D
Then we did the water sport " JET SKIING" .. and it was awesome.... \m/ .
after doing it.. when we sat on a small boat sort of... on one side me n Guru were sitting.. on other side.. Saurabh and Alankar....... it became so imbalanced..... dat me n Guru were just about to drown .. lolzzz.......... i was just laughing so much.. that i was not even able to say that we are drowning.. :D :D ....
We then returned back to the place to return our costumes... Saurabh.. dont know how he communicated with a lady and told her to call moti aunty... then only we will give money... hahahahahaha......
Finally, there was the moti aunty..... Saurabh said her that we will sit in ur scooty again.. and you drive us to the place from where she picked us.... she said someting in chinese... which we definetly could not understand... and then Saurabh started sitting on the back of her scooty... to this that moti aunty gave such a nice expression and gave him a little jerk on his forehead........ this was such an ultimate scene. :D :D ... It was like she dint understand anything.. and was acting .. she understood everything... and we are not understanding any thing.. :P :P
This was one of the best moment of the day.. B-)
When she refused to take us on scooty..... she managed to stop a shuttle bus.. ... we took it and finally we were again at hengchun bus stop.
As we were just discussing.. which bus to take......... the shuttle bus left us in front of our eyes. :(
Then we had a big disscussion.. as to which route we should take.. and what all tourist places we can visit.
We had a plan A ( go to aquarium), plan B ( go to CHUHUO by bus) and then Saurabh introduced a new plan C ... hahahaha..... :D :D .. and most probably .. i think.. Alankar and Guru.. dont even know what that plan C was.... :D :D.
Finally...... there was the Plan D... ;) . It was also Saurabh's plan.
We took a taxi and went to chuhuo...150 dollars for 2 mins.. huh!! :O
We decided to be there for 1 hour and will take a bus to waterfall spot.
Since there was only natural fire to see ... (to which Guru by mistakely said .. artificial fire.. lolzz.. :P ).. so we had lot of time to explore new things.
We started following Alankar.. who went inside a deep forest sort of......!! There was a narrow stream of water ... .. so we had lot of pics there ... :D :D ..
After some time we came out of that jungle....
We waited for some time for the shuttle bus.... and finally when it came..... the driver refused us to enter.. because he said that he will not return.... so we should not get in it.. :-/
Our plan D was getting failed. :( ..... So Saurabh had another plan...... plan E.. :D :D
He said... we can walk till waterfall.. and can come back within half an hour.. We decided to walk..( because. in the map which we had. it was mentioned.. that it takes only 8 minutes to reach waterfall from chuhuo... by bus..)
We thought.. if we can go there by feet... it will not take much time... and so started to walk very enthusiastically.......(while Alankar and guru stayed behind)
I and saurabh walked and walked.. and later felt that we should take lift from someone.. because it was becoming very tiring....
Well... we were really lucky that a very good person gave us lift even when he was not going that way....... By our way we found that it was not only 8 minutes by road.... by instead very far... We would have never reached there by walking....
Finally.. me and Saurabh reached the spot. and what we found......??.:O there was no water fall actually (dont know why its name was waterfall?? )..... :O :O
Instead there was a beach... where people were doing surfing.. :D :D ... it was awesome to see it.. We hurriedly took some snaps....
and started to inquire about JLALESUEL. We met a person who just went there... he showed us some snaps of that place...... we were amazed to see rocks in the shape of animals.. and all were natural.. :O :O . He even told that JLALESUEL is not very far.. and takes only 10-15 mins by feet.
We finally decided to go there by feet. ( We even asked for lift ... but nobody gave.. >.< ). Anyhow, it was very near.. so we reached within 15 minutes.
Since there were not many people there, and we felt we should leave early because we may not get lift. So, even there we took snaps hurriedly :D :D.
And there we are.........completed three lines of visiting places according to the map..
A big achievement indeed.. \m/.
We were so happy that we did justice to the amount we paid for visitng.. :)
And now there was the big ques.. :O :O ... How we will go back to our place.. It was way too far .............
After coming back from JLALESUEL.... we started asking for lift... but no one replied in positive. :(
And when we reached the waterfall.... we started asking people with car if they are going to Hengchun... (the bus stop) everbody helped in one way or other.. but no one was going to Hengchun or even Chuho.. :( , They even suggested us to take taxi....... but obviously.. we dint take.... :D :D .. and walked a little ... and were continuously asking for lift. :D ...
Uhhh... finally...... we met a gentleman who was ready to give us the lift. We asked him to drop us till Chuho... and so did he.
When we started walking to Hengchun from Chuho... we again met that person... and he himself asked if he can help us. It was so kind of that person. :)
Now, we were in Hengchun bus station. We asked for bus ticket to Kenting in the station.... the concerned person pointed to a cafeteria. so we went there. We thought we have to take ticket from that cafeteria. There was a girl in that shop. We asked her if we can get the bus tickets. She pointed towards the bus station. We again went there...the concerned person refused to give tickets and pointed to that cafeteria again. We forwarded towards that cafeteria. We asked about the tickets to the girl in cafeteria. Saurabh was even telling her... to help us in getting the tickets from the station.. and by the time either he or i can stay in the shop. I could not stop laughing on this comment of Saurabh... it was amazing seeing that girl's expression. hahahahaha..........
We nearly walked to and fro four times. And finally thought that we have to pay in the bus itself. We saw two girls standing for the bus. We inquired about the bus tickets.. and came to know.. that we have to pay in the bus. We were glad to reach back to our place. :)
In the bus .. the most funniest chat I ever had with a guy.. was... discussion on the Hindi movie "MEHENDI".
he was telling me a scene of that movie and concluded.. how funny indian movies are. :D
( The best part of the bus journey) :D
The bus driver dropped at a place from where we had to walk and go to our place. In the mid way, we met Guru, Alankar, Amy and Keeran.
From there.. Saurabh went to Amy's kitchen (only place he had his meals from :P)
and we all went to McDonald. (but only i had my dinner there, cuz everybody already had their.)
After dinner, we caught Saurabh.. and headed towards our room.
Guru again wanted to go out and roam on the streets... so we all accompanied him. Dont know how... Alankar Guru and me were at one place while Saurabh Amy and Keeran were at other. And so we could not spot them.
Guru was again enthusiastic about going to the pub ( as according to him he dint go last night :P). So, Alankar and Guru left for the pub and I was roaming in the night market.
After some time, I spotted Saurabh Amy and Keeran and joined them.
After a long time... we all were together once again. (Guru n Alalnkar dint go to pub even this day) . We went to our room and had a good night sleep. :)
Me and saurabh planned to go light house early morning ( 8 am :P ) .. and so we left by that time. We thought to go by feet... but when we inquired about the place... we knew.. its very far by feet. So we just dropped the plan and came back to our room.
We all (Me Guru Alankar and Saurabh) went to NANWAN BEACH.
We had a nice time there. :) We made some new friends and started playing beach volley ball with them. It was a great experience ;)
When we were about to leave, a girl asked if we are interested in having fruits.. as they have in large quantity.
To this, Saurabh thought... they may have a big basket of fruits full of apples, bananas, etc. but instead there was a big watermelon. :D :D .....
Then they introduced us to a game.. in which we have to hit the watermelon by playing the game.
The game went for too long....... finally we had to leave the game.. and so we came back. (could not even have one bite.. :( .. cuz the game was still not over.. :P )
After packing all our stuffs, we went to have our lunch and headed to Fanglion.
I had a train ticket from Fanglion to my destination. But, for them.. there was no trains to Hsinchu ( the place they live). So they took a local train to Kaoushing and there they did some shopping and then took a train to Hsinchu.
finally we all were at our destination...and back to work....
